About DeskKit
DeskKit is a small, static website of everyday developer utilities. Cron expressions, regular expressions, JSON, timestamps, encodings, UUIDs, JWTs, and hashes — the jobs you used to paste into a random “online tool” that you did not operate.
The product constraint is simple: no backend. Pages are pre-rendered HTML and CSS. Interactive tools are small client-side scripts. If your laptop is offline, the tools still work after the first load. If you paste a production token, it does not become someone else’s log line.
Who it is for
Overseas (US and EU) developers, SREs, and technical writers who search for “cron every 5 minutes” or “jwt decoder” and want a page that is explicit about privacy, time zones, and what the tool will not do. The copy is English on purpose.
How the site is funded
The long-term plan is Google AdSense and a few sponsor slots. Ads and analytics are off until an operator sets the public environment flags documented in the README. Cookie consent only appears when ads are enabled. Sponsor inventory is listed on the Sponsor this site page.
